Cold Dreams is a rather obscure platforming game with its own unique style, both gameplay-wise and graphically. If I had to compare it to something, in terms of how it controls at least, I suppose it's a little like that Spiderman game that was often pirated back in the 90's. (The Amazing Spider-Man.)Cold Dreams is a DOS-based puzzle-platformer game with a focus on surreal environments and challenging gameplay. It was developed during the era when such games often mixed atmospheric storytelling with intricate level design. Puzzle Solving: Players encounter a variety of environmental puzzles that require logic and timing to overcome. These puzzles may involve activating switches, avoiding traps, and interacting with the environment in creative ways. Platforming: Precise movement is required to navigate platforms, avoid hazards, and reach new areas. The game challenges players with icy surfaces, moving platforms, and tricky jumps. Enemies and Obstacles: Dreamlike enemies and obstacles populate the levels, adding tension and danger. The player has limited means of defending themselves, focusing more on evasion and clever navigation.
